About...
My name is Jacob Hartel. I am a student working on my bachelor's in Computer Science, dual enrolled Ozark Tech/Missouri State Uni. Work mostly on the C#/.NET pipeline in school. Growing up my father worked on Missile control systems in the Air Force, then started a company designing and building automated car washes. I learned a lot about control computers, electrical, hydraulic, and more. Working with him was my introduction to what began the fascination with computers and machining.
My goal is to eventually get to work in embedded systems. Physical feedback really excites me, it would be fun to work with various fields of engineering and really test myself. Enterprise software interests me as well, the codes bases are massive and learning to work within constraints seems so beneficial long term, not only for developing but for thinking generally. Zooming in and out of multiple perspectives and technical aspects seems exciting.
Overall, I'm looking for something to sink my teeth into. I enjoy a mission, a goal, I want to be striving towards something. Whether it's the culture I am surrounded by, a target to hit. I just want to be a part of an organization that's trying to do their best work day in and day out. People who want to make each other better.
